STATION 19 POKER RUN

1^st ANNUAL CANCER RIDE

MAY 24^TH, 2008

This turned out to be a HUGE event for us and we raised alot of money for the Hiten family. Thanks to all who came out to participate in the ride and to the sponsors and supporters who gave their time and money to make it as successful as it was. We were able to raise over $6000 for them and it was humbling to see how touched they were to see just how many people showed up. We had almost 70 bikes and 100 riders on a beautiful day. We rode over 100 miles and came back to station 3 where the entire on-duty crew had been grilling burgers and dogs for us. We got to hear the heart-felt "thank you's" from both Mark and Brenda who were both overwhelmed by the outpouring of support shown to them by our brotherhood of firefighters. In their name I'd like to thank each and every one of you for a wonderful day. We look forward to doing it again next year.
